However, there are always some enterprises that forget the safety production system and only care about the petty profits in front of them. They neither consider the life safety of employees nor fulfill their responsibilities to the society. The most typical case is the explosion accident in Tianjin Binhai New Area in 8.12, which shocked the whole country in 2015. A fire and explosion accident occurred in the dangerous goods warehouse of Ruihai company in Tianjin port. The smoke and dust as high as tens of meters rose into the air, killing 165 people. The direct economic loss caused by the accident alone reached 6.866 billion yuan. As soon as the news came out, the whole country was shocked. I still remember the most thrilling scene I saw on TV at that time. A man was looking at the glass window of the foyer. Suddenly, the shock wave of the explosion hit. The man was overturned to the ground, and the glass door was instantly broken. The huge impact force swept across the sky. The debris of sand and gravel instantly engulfed everything on the screen. Just imagine, if the enterprise can strengthen management and find out the potential safety hazards as soon as possible; if the relevant safety production departments do their duty, detect the dangers as soon as possible and make them rectify, can the accident be completely avoided. As the saying goes, natural disasters and man-made disasters, today's human beings, whether they are facing droughts, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, have relevant technical means to contain them. However, in the face of the so-called man-made disasters, they are obviously some avoidable problems. As a result, due to the lack of attention and inaction in all aspects, we were caught off guard at any time, regardless of time and place, and even paid a heavy price for our lives.
Chairman Zhan Guohai made it clear at the "Two Sessions" spirit report meeting in 2020: "The safety chain and the industrial chain complement each other. All units of the enterprise must strengthen safety management, attach great importance to safety issues, enhance the safety management and control capabilities of the enterprise, and earnestly grasp safe production." From the employee safety examination at the beginning to Xinhai to the employment confirmation safety examination at the end of the probation period, it has never been so perfunctory as a formality. The company will regularly investigate and manage the problems of low age and hidden dangers within the enterprise, and strictly implement them. In the organized night training for all staff, safety education warning activities were concentrated to warn everyone that the safety red line should not be touched.
A seemingly inconspicuous safety rope may become a life link between you and the world. A misstep leads to eternal hatred, a detailed count of endless words of remorse. Life is more important than Mount Tai, and safety work cannot be regarded as an irrelevant matter, engaging in formalism and bureaucracy. As companies do, so do we.
