【Summary】On September 5, under the strong promotion and intensive arrangement of the company's leader Wei zong, and with the joint efforts of the engineering management department, the safety and environment department, the territorial workshop and all participating construction units, the main tower of the desulfurization tower, two oxidation tanks and some plate replacement components were successfully hoisted in place at the site of the 50000-ton/year sulfur recovery unit at 18: 00 on the same day.

On September 5, under the strong promotion and intensive arrangement of the company's leader Wei zong, and with the joint efforts of the engineering management department, the safety and environment department, the territorial workshop and all participating construction units, the main tower of the desulfurization tower, two oxidation tanks and some plate replacement components were successfully hoisted in place at the site of the 50000-ton/year sulfur recovery unit at 18: 00 on the same day.

During this period, from the compilation and review of the hoisting plan, the welding of lifting lugs and related parts, the joint inspection of the vehicle entrance station to the joint inspection before hoisting, the arrangement of each process is scientific and orderly. In this hoisting operation, the main body of the desulfurization tower has a net weight of 56 tons and a hoisting radius of 26 meters. Due to the small space on site, the tower body needs to cross 19-meter-high obstacles in place, making hoisting difficult. In order to ensure the safety of hoisting operation, two 500-ton truck cranes are selected as the main crane, and one 260-ton truck crane slips the tail.

As an important node in the construction of the new sulfur plant, the installation of the desulfurization tower and other equipment is of great significance to ensure the subsequent oven drying of the sulfur plant, the introduction of acid gas and the timely achievement of hot standby conditions.
