On May 20, the primary reaction electric heater of the sulfur recovery unit was hoisted in place. The primary reaction electric heater weighs 5.5 tons and is installed at an elevation of 27 meters. An 80-ton crane is selected for hoisting.
As an important part of the sulfur unit, the primary reaction electric heater mainly mixes the process gas to 280 degrees Celsius through the primary high-temperature blending valve and enters the primary reaction electric heater. Under the action of Claus catalyst, hydrogen sulfide reacts with sulfur dioxide to generate sulfur.
The primary reaction electric heater is the last equipment of the first structure. This hoisting indicates that the installation of the first structure equipment has been completed, and the project construction has taken a new step, laying a good foundation for the project to be completed on schedule.
